Good Morning from Haiti!

A week ago that statement was filled with apprehension and worry.  Today it means what a wonderful day it is going to be!  We have all settled in better than we ever imagined.  Worked together, worshiped together, laughed together (what happened in Haiti stays in Haiti!) and had our hearts changed forever.  We couldn't have done it without you!  You should see 'our' ladies (and guys) sew!

Everyday was an adventure.  One day we caused a fire on the power pole because of our irons.  Our rides in the 'tap tap' were better than any ride we paid for at Disneyland.  In one room we have the mother of our translator as a student.  She tucks her daughters' bra strap in and chastises her for taking a call on her phone during class - mothers are the same everywhere.  Teenagers are the same-they like music and talking and hugs.  They want to be doctors and engineers.  We have taken a million pictures to share these people with you, they will make you smile too.  See you soon.

God Bless you all.  God Bless the people and our new forever friends in Haiti.
