Ten Days and Counting

Happy New Year from the Tabitha's Peaceful Piecemakers Haiti Mission Team!  Here's the picture that Pastor Al took tonight after he spent some time encouraging us and praying for us.  Front row, left to right: Arda, Kim, Shannon and LeAnne.  Second row, left to right: Joed, Mary, Wendy, Carol and Dawn.

We also spent some time together sharing our pre-trip Bible Study - "Before You Pack Your Bags Prepare Your Heart."  This has been a meaningful time for us to share our hearts and lives with each other.  Then we took time tonight to pack some supplies for our trip.  It's all starting to feel very real now and we are getting SO EXCITED for January 13th!   We've been planning and communicating with The Apparent Project for several months now, and we're ready to meet the Clay family and the Haitian people that God has chosen for us to work with.

We have been so blessed by the financial support of our congregation, our families, our friends,  and the prayer support has been amazing too!  Thank you!  We're setting up a 'round the clock prayer schedule to cover our team from the 13th to the 21st and we covet your prayers!  We are assured in Philippians 4 that if we present our requests to God  that His peace that passes understanding will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.
